Harris Named To All-District Academic Team

Middlebury College men's basketball player Andrew Harris (Waterbury Center, Vt.) has been named a District I Academic All-American by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors Association). The senior is a molecular biology/biochemistry major at Middlebury, earning a spot on the first team for the second consecutive year. He will now be placed on a national ballot, with the team being named on February 27th.

Harris is currently a co-captain for one of the most successful men's basketball team in school history. The Panthers have tied the school record for wins with 17 and will wrap up their regular season with a pair of home games this weekend.

Despite missing seven games due to an injury this season, Harris continues to lead the team in scoring with 14.9 points/game. He also paces the team with 52 three-point field goals made, including 169 in his career, placing him fourth on the school's all time list.
