Rudin Earns Player Of The Week Honors For The Third Time

Middlebury College men's basketball player Ben Rudin (Scarsdale, N.Y.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week for the third time this season. Rudin averaged 24.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game to lead the Panthers to the 2009 NESCAC Men's Basketball Championship, the first title in program history for Middlebury. During Saturday's 76-46 win over Bowdoin, Rudin scored a career-high 30 points. He followed on Sunday with 18 points and nine rebounds in a 77-68 victory against Amherst, setting a tournament record for total points with 77.
