Rudin Earns NESCAC Player Of The Week Honors - Panthers Crack Top 25

Middlebury College men's basketball player Ben Rudin (Scarsdale, N.Y.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week. Rudin averaged 20.0 points, 9.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game with a 6.0 assist-to-turnover ratio over a 2-0 NESCAC weekend for the Panthers. Friday night against Bates, Rudin scored a career-high 28 points while grabbing six rebounds in a 73-65 overtime win. Saturday afternoon against Tufts, Rudin had 12 points and a career-best 14 assists while only playing in 24 minutes as the Panthers posted a 108-64 victory. Rudin finished the week shooting an even .500 from the field (15-for-30) and .800 from the line (8-for-10).

With their impressive 14-2 record and 10-game winning streak, the Panthers have cracked the national poll. Middlebury is ranked 25th in the January 19th, D3 Hoops.com national poll.
