Middlebury left Pennsylvania as the only undefeated team at the Equinox Classic, earning a 55-42 win over Haverford on day two of the tourney. Nolan Thompson and Jamal Davis each earned All-Tournament team honors for the 2-0 Panthers.
Neither team shot well in the first half, with Middlebury taking a 21-13 lead into the intermission. The Panthers were red-hot in the second session, shooting .632 from the floor as they led by as many as 25. Haverford closed the game on a 13-1 run to make it a 55-42 final.
Ryan Sharry led all scorers with 14 on 5-6 shooting, Ryan Wholey and Jake Wolfin each netted 11, while Luis Alvarez scored eight. Thompson and Andrew Locke each grabbed six boards in the victory.
