Edwards Earns Another Post-Season Honor

Middlebury College men's basketball player Tim Edwards (Greenwich, Conn.) has earned another post-season honor. The Middlebury senior was a third-team All-Northeast Region selection by D3Hoops.com. Edwards is the two-time NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year, earning a spot on the second-team this season.

Edwards ended his career at Middlebury as one of the best all-around players in school history. His defensive skills helped lead the team to a nation's-best .367 field goal percentage defense this season, while leading the nation in blocked shots with 7.6/game. The captain led the team and was second in the NESCAC in assists with 5.09/game and steals with 1.96/contest. He also paced the team in steals with 45, to along with his 8.6 ppg and 7.1 rpg.

Edwards ends his career as the school's all-time leader in steals with 194, also owning the single-season record with 62 in '08-'09. He finished fourth on the assists list with 352.
