Men's Basketball Tops #22 Plattsburgh

The sixth-ranked Middlebury men's basketball team improved to 8-0 on the season as they earned an 88-82 road win at #22 Plattsburgh on Tuesday night. Ryan Wholey scored a career-high 24 points in the game to lead the Panthers, going 5-9 from behind the arc.

Ryan Sharry scored 14 points, Jake Wolfin netted a dozen with 10 assists, Andrew Locke scored 11, while Joey Kizel had nine with 10 assists in the victory. Middlebury shot 40% from the floor and held a 44-35 edge on the boards.

Josh Bruno led Plattsburgh with 24 points, going 6-6 from three-point range. Carl Munnerlyn added 16, while Steve Thomas chipped in with 14.

Middlebury led by three with 5:52 left, going on a 12-1 run to take a 73-59 lead with 3:36 remaining.
