Men's Golf Finishes Third At NESCAC Championship

9/26/04 - For the fourth time in five years, the Williams men's golf team has captured the NESCAC Championship. The Ephs were in third place after day one, trailing first place <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Hamilton by 11 strokes and second place Middlebury by 10. Williams came back with a 310 on day two (630), earning a one stroke win over Hamilton (631) en route to its eighth NESCAC title. Nick Ryder of Williams captured individual honors with a two-day total of 154 on the Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College.
