Men's Golf Wraps Up Spring

The Middlebury College men's golf team ended its season with an eighth place finish at the 12-team Northeast District Shootout hosted by Williams.

First-year player Harrison Bane (Marblehead, Mass.) led the team with a 152 at the two-day tournament, 10 strokes off the pace and in seventh place. Finishing 28th was senior Jay Yonamine (Eden Prarie, Minn.) with a 160, followed by sophomore George Baumann (Mequon, Wis.) in 34th with a 162. Junior Mitch St. Peter (San Francisco, Calif.) in 38th (165) and junior Chad Bellmare (Bedford, N.Y.) in 48th (168) rounded out the squad.
