Men's Golf Ends Fall At NEIGA

10/19/05 - The Middlebury men's golf team had a good showing at the NEIGA (New England Intercollegiate Golf Association) Championship. The Panthers placed 16th overall and fourth among Division III teams at the 45-team event. URI won the event with a 592, while Middlebury came in with a 639, good for 16th place.

Leading the Middlebury squad at the two-day event was Chad Bellmare with a 152. Next was George Baumann with a 157, followed by Harrison Bane (159), Mitch St. Peter (171) and Derek Singer (173). For his performance, Bellmare was named to the All-New England team.
