Men's Golf Places Fifth At Hamilton

10/9/05 - Middlebury competed in a two-day match at <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Hamilton, with the Panthers finishing in a fifth place tie with a 628. Salem State won the 16-team event with a 608, followed by Skidmore (612), NYU (614) and Hamilton (615).<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Pacing Middlebury in a ninth place tie was Chad Bellmare with a 154, eight strokes of the pace. Next for the Panthers was Harry Bane with a 157, followed by George Baumann (162) and Mitch St. Peter (San Francisco, Calif.) with 162's, while Derek Singer finished with a 163.
