A pair of captains from the Middlebury College men’s hockey team was honored when the NESCAC announced its all-conference teams. Senior defenseman Louis Belisle (Repentigny, Que.) was named first-team All-NESCAC, while junior forward Derek Pimentel (Laval, Que.) earned second-team honors. The all-conference accolade is the first for each player of their respective careers.
Middlebury saw its season come to an end as the fourth-seeded Panthers fell 6-3 to fifth-seeded Bowdoin (15-8-3) in a NESCAC Quarterfinal contest in Kenyon Arena. The Polar Bears will make their fifth-consecutive trip to the NESCAC semifinals with the win, earning their first post-season victory at Middlebury since 1993. The Panthers end their season with an 11-11-3 mark.

The senior registered three goals and an assist to help Middlebury secure the No. 4 seed and a home quarterfinal game for the NESCAC Championship with wins over Amherst and Hamilton.
The Middlebury men's and women's hockey teams will both host NESCAC Quarterfinal games on Saturday, March 1st.
