
Middlebury saw its season come to an end with a 4-2 loss in the NESCAC semifinals at Bowdoin. Danny Palumbo scored a pair of first-period goals to lead Bowdoin to the win on Saturday afternoon at Watson Arena. The fifth-seeded Panthers end their season with a mark of 13-11-2.
Two members of the Middlebury College men’s hockey team were honored when the NESCAC announced its all-conference teams. First-year player Matt Silcoff (Thornhill, Ont.) was named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year, while junior defenseman Robbie Donahoe (Canton, Mass.) earned second-team honors. The duo will help lead the team into this weekend’s NESCAC semifinal match-up at Bowdoin on Saturday.
The Middlebury College men's hockey team has advanced to the semifinal round of the NESCAC Tournament for the 13th time in 14 years. The Panthers will travel to Bowdoin to take on the Polar Bears on Saturday, March 2nd at 4:00 p.m. Williams will take on Trinity at 1:00 p.m. with the title game scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Ticket information will be available on Tuesday.
Middlebury advanced to the NESCAC semifinals for the 13th time in 14 years as they held on for a 4-3 upset win at Amherst. The fifth-seeded Panthers (13-10-2) received a pair of third period goals from Louis Belisle on its way to the victory over fourth-seeded Amherst (15-7-3) at Orr Rink.
The Middlebury men's hockey team will travel to Amherst for a NESCAC Quarterfinal game on Saturday, February 23rd. The Panthers and Jeffs will face-off at 1:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to next weekend's NESCAC Championship weekend.
