Scheuer Earns Player of the Week Honors

1/26/04 - Middlebury College men's hockey player Marc Scheuer (Pt. Claire, Que.) has been named the NESCAC Men's Hockey Player of the Week. Scheuer was in goal for all three Middlebury league road wins last week as the Panthers improved to 12-2, while taking over first place in the NESCAC standings. Scheuer made 59 saves and allowed just four goals in wins at Williams, St. Anselm and New England College. He had a 1.33 GAA average for the week, while earning a shutout at Williams. He now has a 6-1 record with a 1.47 GAA and .927 save percentage on the season.

Scheuer and the Panthers will host Plattsburgh on Tuesday night (1/27) at 7:00 p.m.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
