Men's Hockey Drops Second Straight

January 15, 2005

1/15/05 - The Middlebury men's hockey team lost its second straight game as they fell at Colby, 2-0. The consecutive losses are the first for the Panthers since a pair of PrimeLink losses to Norwich in Plattsburgh in '02.

One goal is all Colby would need as Nick Bayley put in a rebound at 9:57 of the third period to give the Mules a 1-0 lead. Bayley would add an empty-netter with 54 seconds left to seal the 2-0 win for Colby. The Mules out shot the Panthers 35-24 on the afternoon, with Yen-I Chen made 24 saves in goal.
