Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

I picked the worst day to visit campus. It was the middle of January and a blizzard kept Middlebury’s beautiful campus hidden. However, once I stepped inside the athletic facilities, I was very impressed. After seeing the arena, natatorium, bubble, and especially, weight room, I was sold.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

As a hockey player, it is the community involvement and student fan support that makes this place so special. As a student, it is the relationships formed in and out of athletics, academics and social life.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

Hoisting a national championship trophy in front of a sold-out home crowd surrounded by my teammates.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

The power a group of people who work, challenge, and care for each other can have and achieve.
