The Middlebury men's lacrosse program will offer a camp on July 16-17, 2011. The camp will take place on Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium and is limited to 150 campers. CLICK HERE for the camp brochure.

Three members of the Middlebury College men's lacrosse team earned honorable mention All-American honors from the USILA. Sophomore Matt Rayner (Andover, Mass.), senior Pete Smith (Wilton, Conn.) and junior David Hild (W. Hartford, Conn.) were all recognized for their excellent play in 2010. The threesome helped lead the Panthers to a 13-6 overall record, with a trip to the NESCAC Championship game and the NCAA Quarterfinals.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team saw its season come to an end with an 11-9 loss at Tufts in an NCAA Quarterfinal match-up. The Panthers finish their season at 13-6, while Tufts improves to 18-1 and visits Cortland Sunday in a semifinal match-up. Middlebury was making its 13th consecutive and 14th overall NCAA Tournament appearance, as their record falls to 31-11 in NCAA play.

Three members of the Middlebury College men's lacrosse team have earned All-NESCAC honors. Sophomore Matt Rayner (Andover, Mass.) was named to the first-team, while senior Pete Smith (Wilton, Conn.) and junior David Hild (W. Hartford, Conn.) earned second-team honors. Hild and Rayner were also both first-team All-NEILA (New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association) selections.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team will visit Tufts for the third time this season, on Wednesday, May 19th at 4:00 p.m. After a regular season game and the NESCAC Championship game, this contest will be an NCAA Quarterfinal match-up, with a trip to the semifinals on the line.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team advanced to the second-round of the NCAA Tournament , after a 10-6 win over Goucher. The Panthers (12-5) will visit Rensselaer on Saturday, May 15th in a second-round match-up, as they improve to 30-10 all-time in NCAA play.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament after a 16-8 victory over Rensselaer at East Campus Stadium on Saturday afternoon. David Hild had a huge game at attack for Middlebury, scoring five goals, while assisting on another.

Middlebury has advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and will travel to Rensselaer for a 2:00 p.m. game on Saturday, May 15th. The Panthers earned the right after a 10-6 win over Goucher in a first-round game played at home on May 12th. The game will be played in the East Campus Stadium, with tickets priced at $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Middlebury will make its 13th consecutive and 14th overall appearance in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament. The Panthers will take on Goucher in a first-round game on Wednesday, May 12th at 3:00 p.m. Middlebury earned its way into the tournament with an at-large bid after falling 13-12 to Tufts in the title game.

Assistant women’s lacrosse coach Reid Berrien remembers when she first held a lacrosse stick and knew she’d never let go. She also remembers the really cool older kids who instilled in her that love for the sport. So when the opportunity arose for her to build on the Middlebury tradition of athletes volunteering their time to work with young people in the community, she didn’t miss a beat.

The Middlebury men’s lacrosse team has advanced to the NECAC Championship game with a 13-9 win over Bowdoin at Tufts. The Panthers will take on the host school on Sunday at noon in the title game, with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team lost its first NESCAC Championship game by a score of 13-12 at Tufts on Sunday afternoon. The sixth-ranked Jumbos won their first title and will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. #16 Middlebury saw its hopes of an eighth NESCAC crown come up short and will hope for an at-large bid to the tourney.

The Middlebury College men's lacrosse team will look for its eighth NESCAC Championship this weekend when they travel to Tufts. The second-seeded Jumbos earned the right to host after eighth-seeded and defending NESCAC champion Wesleyan ousted top-seeded Connecticut College in the quarterfinals this past Sunday.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team advanced to next weekend's NESCAC semifinals after a 15-12 road win at third-seeded Amherst. The sixth-seeded Panthers will take on #4 Bowdoin next Saturday at 3:00 at Tufts, while #8 Wesleyan meets #2 Tufts in the other semifinal at 12:00.

Middlebury finished off its regular season with a win as the Panthers earned a 4-3 win at Williams. The Panthers have earned the sixth seed for the upcoming NESCAC Tournament and will play at #3 Amherst in a quarterfinal game on Sunday at 2:30.

Trailing by two goals in the third quarter, the Middlebury College men's lacrosse team fired off five straight goals and held off Rensselaer, 9-6, in non-conference action at East Campus Stadium.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team saw its three-game winning streak come to an end as the #15 Panthers fell 10-5 at #8 Tufts on Saturday afternoon. The win for the Jumbos was just their second over the Panthers in the last 34 meetings between the schools. Middlebury wraps up its regular season with a game at NESCAC rival Williams on Friday.

Middlebury held visiting Trinity scoreless for the first 35:55 of the game, en route to a 9-2 win at Youngman Filed at Alumni Stadium on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Panthers improve to 7-3 overall and 4-3 in NESCAC play, while the Bantams drop to 7-6 for the season and 1-6 in league play.

With an early 2-1 lead over visiting Amherst, Middlebury went on a 5-0 run en route to a 14-6 win over the Lord Jeffs at Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium on Wednesday. With the win, the 12th ranked Panthers  extend their winning streak over Amherst to 24 straight games.

Trailing 2-1 late in the first quarter, Bowdoin went on a 7-1 run to pull away from Middlebury for an 11-6 victory on Saturday at Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium. With the win, the Polar Bears even their overall record at 5-5, while the Panthers fall to 5-3.

Colby won against Middlebury for just the second time in 13 years, as the Mules took an early lead and held on for a 9-8 victory over seventh-ranked Middlebury on Alfond Field. The Mules improve to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the NESCAC with four one-goal wins. Middlebury also is 2-2 in the conference and is 4-2 overall.

Fifth-ranked Middlebury out-scored 11th-ranked Washington and Lee 3-0 over the final 7:34 of the game to produce an 11-9 win over the Generals in men's lacrosse action on Tuesday evening at Georgetown University.

Middlebury suffered its first loss of the season as John Lyons buried a shot from the left side of the box with 2:48 remaining to lift Connecticut College (6-0, 3-0) to an 8-7 victory against fifth ranked Middlebury College (4-1, 2-1) in a battle between undefeated NESCAC rivals on the Artificial Turf at Silfen Field Saturday. The game was Conn.'s first victory over Middlebury since '95.

The Middlebury men's lacrosse team moved to 2-0 on the season with it second straight road win. The Panthers earned a slim mid-week victory over Springfield 6-5, as they prepare to host Wesleyan in the team's home-opener on Saturday.

Middlebury broke open a 3-3 game against NESCAC rival Wesleyan with nine straight goals en route to a 12-5 win at Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium on Saturday. During the run, the fifth-ranked Panthers (3-0, 2-0) held the Cardinals (3-3, 0-2) scoreless for nearly 42 minutes of action.

Middlebury College men's lacrosse player Ryan Deane (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week. In his first career start for the Panthers, Deane made 20 saves to help his squad earn a 9-6 victory at Bates on Saturday, a .769 save percentage.

Middlebury opened up its season with a 9-6 NESCAC victory at Bates on Saturday afternoon. Middlebury junior goalkeeper Ryan Deane had a huge day for the Panthers, making 20 saves, including approximately five from point-blank range.
