Toth Earns Player of the Week Honors

10/31/05 - <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Middlebury College men's soccer player Zack Toth (Carlile, Mass.) has been named the NESCAC co-Player of the Week. The junior goalkeeper had another big week for Middlebury, as he allowed no goals in 200 minutes of action. The junior made six saves in a scoreless tie against Trinity, before making three stops in a NESCAC first-round win over Tufts. He now has eight shutouts on the season with a mere 0.58 GAA.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Toth and the Panthers will head to Williamstown, Massachusetts this weekend to take on Amherst in a NESCAC semifinal at 1:30 p.m. on the campus of Williams College. The NESCAC Championship game is slated for Sunday at noon.
