The Middlebury men’s squash team hosted three matches at home over the weekend, earning a 2-1 mark. The 18th-ranked Panthers cruised to a 9-0 win over #26 Colby, before having little trouble with #21 Bowdoin in an 8-1 win. The competition stiffened on Sunday, as Middlebury fell 9-0 to fourth-ranked St. Lawrence.

The Middlebury men’s squash team played a pair of matches at Williamson Saturday. The 17th-ranked Panthers opened the day with a 9-0 win over Stanford. In the top slot, Middlebury’s Parker Hurst won his first match of the season 11-5, 11-3, 11-5 over Stanford's Parker Odrich.
The Middlebury men’s squash team opened up its season with a 9-0 loss to fifth-ranked Rochester. The match was the first placed by the 17th-ranked Panther men in the school’s new squash facility. Middlebury returns to action on Saturday with a couple of matches against Western Ontario and Stanford at Williams.
The squash center officially opened on Saturday, October 26th on homecoming weekend. At the opening reception, President Liebowitz said the spectacular, nine-court facility – and the new Field House under construction – are the first buildings in the history of the College to be fully funded by donors.
