Men's Squash At Middlebury

In just a short time, the Middlebury men's squash program has risen to one of the top teams nationally. In '11-'12, the Panthers finished the season 16-9, ending the year ranked 14th nationally. Middlebury followed that up with a 15-8 mark en route to the Summers Cup and a national ranking of 17th.

The first few years of the program saw approximately 10 players on the roster and 3-4 matches per winter. The team’s roster has risen to 12-15 players over the past few seasons, with the team taking part in nationals annually.

In its first season as a varsity sport in '07-'08, Middlebury saw its roster grow to 16 players as the team earned an 11-13 record. The Panthers won a NESCAC Tournament match, while competiting in the "C" flight at nationals.

The second year saw the team win the '08-'09 national Team Sportsmanship Award and post a 15-10 record.

In '09-'10, the team set a new school record with 20 wins, against just seven losses. The Panthers finished fifth at NESCAC's and earned a national ranking of 17th.
