Men's Tennis Headed To NCAA Semifinals

5/18/05 - Middlebury cruised to a 4-0 win over Mary Washington in the NCAA quarterfinals at UC-Santa Cruz. The defending NCAA Champions advance to a semifinal match on Thursday at noon against Gustavus Adolphus, a 4-3 winner over Trinity of Texas.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Middlebury came from behind to pick up the doubles point in their quarterfinal match. Nate Edmunds and Brian Waldron earned an 8-1 win, while Justin Ingoglia and George Mayer were 8-4 winners. In singles play, Edmunds earned a 6-2, 6-1 win, Mayer was a 6-1, 6-2 victor, while Alex Scott earned a 6-4, 6-4 win.
