Five Men's Tennis Players Earn All-NESCAC Honors

4/27/05 - Five members of the Middlebury College men's tennis team earned All-NESCAC honors when the team was released today. Senior Justin Ingoglia (N. Caldwell, N.J.), juniors Ari Beilin (Hamilton, Mass.) and Brian Waldron (Rye, N.Y.), along with sophomore George Mayer (Merion, Pa.) and Alex Scott (Mt. Kisco, N.Y.) were all honored.

Players earn the honor by their performances at the recently completed NESCAC Championships. The top four players from the #1 singles flight, as well as the finalists from the #2 flight make the squad. In doubles play, the #1 finalists as well as the #2 winners make the team.

For Middlebury, Beilin made the squad by winning the #2 singles flight and the #2 doubles bracket with Scott. Ingoglia/Mayer were honored after advancing to the #1 doubles final, while Waldron advanced to the #1 singles semifinals.
