Men's Tennis Set For Run At NCAA Title

The Middlebury College men's tennis team will make its fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals after defeating Amherst 4-0 in an NCAA Regional Final in Middlebury. The Panthers will take on Trinity of Texas in a quarterfinal match-up on Wednesday, May 17th at 9:00 a.m. The championship week is taking place from May 17-22 at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va.


The Panthers are now in their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The '04 NCAA Champions advanced to the semifinals in '03 and the finals a year ago. Middlebury is currently sporting a school-record 20 wins against just two losses and have now won three consecutive NESCAC Championships.
