Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

I was in awe. For such a small school to have such amazing athletic facilities is very rare. I was also enthused when I saw the courts by Proctor dining hall; the atmosphere of playing on the tennis courts right in the middle of campus is very exciting.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

It's been a unique experience spending four years studying at Middlebury among the Green Mountains. I'm not sure many other college students can say they've been part of such a focused environment where students can really dedicate themselves to developing all aspects of their character.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

Having a starting role in the 2006-2007 season was very special since I was able to directly contribute to the team's success. Our win at the NESCAC tournament over Williams definitely stands out as well.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

Tennis, like most sports, requires many attributes that translate into real-world applications. Most importantly, I have learned to value hard work, respect, and sportsmanship.
