Skiers Earn All-East Honors

Nine members of the Middlebury College ski teams have earned All-East honors based on their performances this season. The group helped lead the Panthers to second place finishes in five of six carnivals this season, with an impressive win at the UVM Carnival in '08. All nine members have also qualified for the upcoming NCAA Championships, being held from March 5-8th at Montana State University.

Earning first-team All-East honors on the men's alpine side were junior Andrew Wagner (Traverse City, Mich.) and senior Alec Tarberry (N. Conway, N.H.), while senior Megan Hughes (Killington, Vt.) and junior Tucker Burton (Breckenridge, Colo.) earned second-team honors.

Junior Simeon Hamilton (Aspen, Colo.) and first-year racer Alexa Turzian (Hailey, Idaho) earned first-team honors on the nordic side for the Panthers. Juniors Robyn Anderson (Stowe, Vt.) and Tim Reynolds (Bristol, Vt.), along with rookie Patrick Johnson (Anchorage, Alaska) earned second-team honors.
