Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

Every time I come back to Middlebury I feel what I felt when I first arrived – extremely fortunate to be a part of it all. The athletic facilities were quite impressive; I remember thinking that the athletic complex was like a big playground.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

The people and the environment are what make Middlebury special for most people, including me; but more importantly, the opportunities available surpassed my expectations so much that when I am here I feel exceptionally privileged.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

I probably have more great memories from my time here than I should, but above all I cherish the memory of competing at the NCAA championships last season at my home mountain in New Hampshire.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

Ski racing has taught me the value of self-discipline and time management that I know will be indispensable to me for the rest of my life.
