Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

The Middlebury College Snow Bowl is an outstanding facility. I was astonished the college owned their own ski hill. This allows the ski team to have flexibility and variety in our training. The facilities and the people that work at the Bowl are outstanding and an excellent support network for the ski team.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

The Middlebury campus is irreplaceable. The beautiful sunsets over the Adirondacks, the accessibility to the Green Mountains and the remarkable Lake Champlain in our backyard has made me appreciate and take advantage of my surroundings.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

My best memories are the Middlebury Carnival races. It’s an incredible experience to stand at the top of our home hill, the Snow Bowl, confident and knowing you and your teammates are ready to have a stellar day.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

Teamwork and commitment are two important values ski racing has made me develop and appreciate. With the support of a team and their confidence, seemingly out of reach goals and difficult challenges are attainable.
