Hoffman Earns NESCAC Player Of The Week Honors

Middlebury College softball player Jessa Hoffman (Golden, Colo.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week. Hoffman had a huge week for the Panthers, hitting .696 over seven games, including an on-base percentage of .741. The senior shortstop belted two doubles, scored 10 runs and drove in eight. She went 8-10 (.800) as Middlebury took 2-3 from Amherst, hitting three doubles, scoring five runs, while driving in five. She is currently leading the NESCAC with a .545 batting average.
