Following a pair of successful days on the diving board during the NCAA Division III Diving Regional at RPI in Robison Pool, Middlebury senior diver Colleen Harper punched her second-consecutive NCAA Championship ticket. Harper earned one of the region's seven at-large bids to the NCAA Championships with her combined performance at the event.
Middlebury senior diver Colleen Harper will look to earn her second-consecutive NCAA Championship bid when she competes this weekend in the NCAA Division III Diving Regional at RPI in Robison Pool. The NCAA Division III Championship is slated to take place in Indianapolis from March 19th-22nd.
A pair of Middlebury College men’s swimming & diving athletes recently were awarded All-Conference laurels. The top-three finishers in each event during the 2014 NESCAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships garnered All-Conference recognition.
For the third day in a row, Stephan Koenigsberger broke another school record as Middlebury finished seventh overall at the 2014 NESCAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship hosted by Bowdoin. Williams took home the title with 1,849 points, while Amherst (1,750), Connecticut College (1,468), Tufts (1,147) and the host Polar Bears (777.5) round out the top five. Bates was a close sixth with 777 points, while the Panthers racked up 739.
Fueled by a school-record performance from Stephan Koenigsberger Saturday evening, Middlebury remains in seventh place following the second day of the 2014 NESCAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship hosted by Bowdoin. Williams continues to lead the way (1288.5), while Amherst (1196) and Connecticut College (1133) sit second and third. Tufts (763) and Bates (638) complete the top five, while Middlebury remains seventh (523).
