Middlebury College has announced the hiring of Zack Wahl as an assistant swimming coach. Wahl comes to Middlebury from Union College, where he graduated in the spring of 2014 with a degree in biology and geology.

Kimberly (Kimi) Schmidt has been named the new diving coach at Middlebury College. She replaces Lisa Gibbs, who stepped down after 16 years of service to the program. Schmidt will serve under the direction of Panther head coach Bob Rueppel.

Middlebury junior Jamie Hillas finished in 16th place during the 200 breaststroke Saturday evening during the 2014 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. The four-day event was co-hosted by Franklin College and the Indiana Sports Corporation in the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

Middlebury junior Jamie Hillas broke her own school record twice and earned individual All-American honors with a sixth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke during the 2014 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. The four-day event is co-hosted by Franklin College and the Indiana Sports Corporation in the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

Middlebury senior Ian Mackay earned first-team All-American honors with his third-place finish in the 100 fly, highlighting the second day of the 2014 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. The four-day event is co-hosted by Franklin College and the Indiana Sports Corporation in the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.
