Men's Swimmers Edged By Union

1/22/05 - Middlebury's men's swimming and diving team suffered as tough of a loss as you can, as they fell at Union, 149-148 on Saturday.

Sophomores Robert Collier (<?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Catonsville, Md.) and Michael Young (Leawood, Kan.), along with first-year racer Peter Bell (Deerfield, Mass.) led the men's squad with two wins apiece. Bell won both the 50 (28.61) and 100 breaststroke (1:02.56) events, while Collier won the 100 fly (53.71) and the 400 IM (4:16.70).
