Men's Swimmers Earn NESCAC Honors

Nine members of Middlebury's men's swim team earned All-NESCAC honors after impressive performances at the championship meet. Junior Kevin O'Rourke (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) won two NESCAC titles, capturing the 200 free (1:41) and the 500 free (4:32.76), both setting new school records. Sophomore John Dillon (Wellesley, Mass.) won the NESCAC crown in the 100 fly, setting a new school record with a time of 49.58. The third Panther to win an event was sophomore Schuyler Beeman (Guilford, Conn.), who set a new school record with his win in the 50 free (20.56).

Guillermo Garcia: 800-yard Freestyle Relay
Jay Li: 200-yard Freestyle Relay, 400-yard Freestyle Relay
Ryan Marklewitz: 1,000-yard Freestyle, 1,650-yard Freestyle, 800-yard Freestyle Relay
Kevin O'Rourke: 200-yard Freestyle, 500-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Freestyle Relay, 400-yard Freestyle Relay, 800-yard Freestyle Relay, 200-yard Medley Relay
