Women's Swimmers Earn NESCAC Honors

Eleven members of Middlebury's swimming and diving team earned All-NESCAC honors after impressive performances at the women's championship meet. Seniors Marika Ross (Shorewood, Wis.) and Alanna Hanson (Golden Bridge, N.Y.) both earned impressive honors. Ross shared senior swimmer of the year honors, given to the athlete with the most points scored at NESCAC Championship meets, while Hanson earned the honor in diving. Ross ended the meet with three individual NESCAC titles, capturing the 50 fly (25.76), 100 fly (56.08) and the 200 fly (2:02.23).

Alanna Hanson: 1-meter Diving, 3-meter Diving
Emily McDonald: 50-yard Freestyle, 100-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Freestyle Relay, 400-yard Freestyle Relay, 800-yard Freestyle Relay, 400-yard Medley Relay
Katie Remington: 200-yard Freestyle Relay, 400-yard Freestyle Relay
Marika Ross: 50-yard Butterfly, 100-yard Butterfly,
200-yard Butterfly, 200-yard Freestyle Relay,
400-yard Freestyle Relay, 800-yard Freestyle Relay, 400-yard Medley Relay
