Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

I was incredibly impressed by Middlebury’s athletic facilities, especially after visiting so many other Division III colleges. We undoubtedly have one of the best pools in the country, which makes practicing every day that much more worthwhile.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

I have really learned to value the aspect of the community at Middlebury. I have made such wonderful friendships and relationships with teachers and students that I will continue to appreciate well after I graduate.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

To a certain degree I had never felt the camaraderie of a team and such closeness with my teammates before my Middlebury swimming career. I will never forget our dance parties on the bus after each NESCAC championship meet, being so happy and carefree after having fulfilled this incredible accomplishment that we together aspired to throughout the entirety of the season.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

Swimming has taught me how to maintain a healthy balance in my life and has given me the confidence to know that I can do anything I put my mind to.]]>
