Swimmers In Action At NCAA's

Seven members of the Middlebury College men's and women's swimming and diving teams will take part in the 2009 NCAA Championships from March 18-21st. The event is taking place at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center and is hosted by Macalester College. Emily McDonald has qualified in three different individual events (50 free, 100 free, 100 fly) for the Middlebury women, while Annie Friedlander (200 IM) and Catherine Suppan (100 breastroke) have also qualified. The three, along with Jessie Ward, will compete in the 200 & 400 medley and 200 & 400 free relays. Meagan Collins will represent the divers in both the one and three-meter events. On the men's side, Kevin O'Rourke (100, 200 & 500 free) and Zach Woods (100 & 200 back) will compete.
