Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

When I first toured the athletic complex I was overwhelmed by the size and beauty of the facilities. The thought of playing volleyball in the gym was beyond what I had ever imagined my college athletic experience would be like.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

The people at Middlebury are what make it a special place. Every year I am excited to return to school so that I can see my teammates and friends. The relationships I have made on and off the court are some of the strongest bonds I have in my life and I am sure I will have Middlebury students as life long friends.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

I would have to say that one of the most memorable experiences I have had as a player was in my freshmen year during the quarter-finals of the playoffs. Our team and Colby kept trading points in what felt like the longest match in history! Finally we pulled ahead to win. I just remember the looks on the seniors' faces thinking that it could be their last match.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

There are many things that I have learned throughout my four years of playing volleyball, the most valuable being discipline and leadership.
