Middlebury College field volleyball players Megan Jarchow (Cos Cob, Conn.) and Amy Hart (Kenilworth, Ill.) have both earned All-NESCAC honors. The senior duo helped lead the Panthers to an 18-7 mark in ’13, with a trip to the NESCAC Tournament.


The Middlebury women’s volleyball team saw its season come to an end with a 3-1 (21-25, 29-27, 25-21, 25-18),  loss to Amherst in a NESCAC Quarterfinal match played at Williams. The Panthers finish the season with a final record of 18-7.


Middlebury College women’s volleyball player Megan Jarchow (Cos Cob, Conn.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week for the second time this season. The senior had a big weekend for the Panthers, leading them to a pair of NESCAC wins at home. 


Defending champion Middlebury will look for its fifth NESCAC title when they travel to Williams for the NESCAC Championship weekend. The sixth-seeded Panthers will take on third-seeded Amherst at 8:00 p.m. on Friday night in a quarterfinal match-up.


Middlebury earned a 3-1 (25-13, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19) win over Bates (11-17, 2-8) in the regular season finale for both teams. The Panthers (18-6, 5-5) have earned the sixth seed for the upcoming NESCAC Tournament and will face third-seeded Amherst on Friday night at Williams.
