Women's Golf Ends Fall At Williams Classic

The Middlebury women's golf team ended its fall season with an eighth place finish at the Williams Fall Classic. Amherst won the event with a 655, while the Panthers came in with a 766. Winning medalist honors with a first place finish was Flora Weeks. The Middlebury sophomore shot a 77 and a 78 for a two-day total of 155 to capture the event. Tied for ninth place was Keely Levins with a 167, followed by Kathryn Bostwick, who shot a 217. Alison Andrews rounded out the scorers with a 227.

Women's Golf Places Sixth At Invitational

After a five-shot lead on day one, Amherst extended its advantage to nine shots as they captured the 2009 Middlebury College Invitational Tournament at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course. The Jeffs finished with a 643, followed by Williams (654) and Mt. Holyoke (670). Middlebury finished the seven-team tournament in sixth place with a 721.

Women's Golf Team Competes At Mt. Holyoke

The Panther women’s golf team finished 10th overall at the 13-team Mt. Holyoke Invitational over the weekend. St. Lawrence won the event with a 643, followed by Amherst (655), Williams (667), while Middlebury came in with a 726.

Women's Golf In Action At Dartmouth

The Middlebury College women’s golf team competed with 20 teams, 13 from Division I, at the Dartmouth Invitational over the weekend. Towson won the event with a 625, followed by B.C. (727) and Brown (631). The Panthers finished the event in 20th place with a two-day total of 735.

Women's Golf Opens Fall Season

The Panther women’s golf team placed fourth among eight teams competing at the St. Lawrence Invitational on opening weekend. Middlebury shot a 697 over the two-day event, as the host school shot a 636 to pick up the win. First-year player Keely Levins (Rutland, Vt.) finished second overall at the event, shooting a 157, including a 76 on day two, to lead the team. Sophomore Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) came in sixth place with a 163, followed by first-year player Victoria Chiang (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.), who shot a 181. Sophomore Kathryn Bostwick (New Canaan, Conn.) shot a 206, while junior Ashley Sandy (Middlebury, Vt.) came in with a 214 to round out the squad.
