3/3/05 - <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Middlebury College women's basketball player Elyse Carlson (Braintree, Mass.) has been named to the All-NESCAC second-team. The senior led the Panthers in scoring this season, playing in all 25 games as Middlebury made its fifth straight NESCAC Tournament appearance.

Carlson ended the year averaging 13.8 points/game, while her 5.6 rebounds/contest ranked her third among her teammates. She also dished out 36 assists to go along with 28 steals in '04-'05. Carlson came on strong late in the year, averaging 20 points/game during a six game stretch in early February.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
