Women's Basketball Falls At #3 Bowdoin

2/11/05 - Middlebury hung tough for the first half, but fell 74-50 in a NESCAC contest at third-ranked Bowdoin. The Panthers led 10-9 before Bowdoin came back strong to take a 34-19 lead with 2:16 left in the first half. Middlebury ended the half on a 5-0 run to cut the lead to 10. The Polar Bears led by eight with 12:13 left, and then went on a 15-0 run to put the game out of reach.
Elyse Carlson led the Panthers with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Kate Fisher netted 16 points with five boards.
