12/7/04 - Middlebury improved to 3-4 on the season as they defeated Plymouth State 65-56 in the Pepin Gym. The Panthers jumped out to a 15-5 lead before going on a 15-0 run midway through the first half to take a 34-14 advantage. Middlebury shot .438 from the floor in the first half, while holding its opponents to just .206. The lead grew to as many as 25 in the second half before Plymouth State went on an 11-0 run to cut it to seven with 1:04 left to play. Kate Fehsenfeld led Middlebury with 19 points, while Micaela McVary and Elyse Carlson each scored 10 and grabbed eight rebounds. Alanna Young had a big game on the boards with 15 to go along with her seven points.
