Women's Basketball Moves To 9-1

Middlebury forced 35 Clarkson turnovers on its way to a 52-37 win over the Golden Knights. The 9-1 Panthers are off to their best start since the '01-'02 squad opened at 10-1.
Middlebury went on a 10-3 run at the 8:47 mark of the first half to take a 20-12 lead late with 1:16 remaining. Leading by eight at the 15:07 mark of the second half, Middlebury went on a 10-0 run to take a game-high lead of 37-19 with 8:09 left in the contest. Clarkson was able to cut the lead to 10 with 6:00 left to play, but that's as close as they'd come. Middlebury ended the game with a 51-35 edge on the boards.
Katie Fisher led Middlebury with nine points, while Erin Lackey and Ashley Barron scored eight points apiece. Monica Thomas paced Clarkson with eight.
