Women's Basketball Drops Road Game At Hamilton

Middlebury dropped its second straight game as the Panthers fell 66-55 in a road game at Hamilton. Middlebury returns to NESCAC play this weekend as they travel to Amherst and Trinity.
Hamilton scored the first eight points and led, 36-27, at halftime. Middlebury never held the lead and the score was tied once, 10-10, early in the first half.
The Panthers made it a five-point game at 54-49 with 5:16 left in the second half, but Jess Barrows' fourth three-pointer with 4:08 remaining started a 5-0 run that put the Continentals up by 10 points. Hamilton iced the game by going 7-for-8 from the free throw line in the last 2:50.
Sydney Fasulo scored a game-high 15 points and Jess Barrows added 14 to lead Hamilton. Katie Fisher scored 14 points to lead Middlebury, while Ashley Barron dropped in 12 points. Alanna Young led all players with nine rebounds.
