Women's Basketball Wins At Green Mountain

Middlebury improved to 5-1 on the season as they picked up a 68-45 road win at Green Mountain. The Panthers jumped out to a 14-3 lead in the first six minutes of the game, behind two three's apiece from Ashley Barron and Emily Johnson.

The lead slowly increased, with Middlebury taking a 41-21 lead into the halftime break. The Panthers extended their lead to as many as 26 in the second half, coming away with the 68-45 win.

Barron paced the team with 16 points, including four threes, while Johnson netted nine with three from behind the arc. Jennifer Kelleher also scored nine points in the win for Middlebury.

Brittany Holden led Green Mountain with 11, while Natalie Clark scored 10.
