Borsinger Earns Academic All-American Honors

Middlebury College women’s basketball player Tracy Borsinger (Chatham, N.J.) has been named District I First-Team Academic All-American by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). The 6’0” senior currently boasts a 3.76 GPA, and is expected to graduate in May with a degree in biochemistry.

Borsinger currently leads her team and the NESCAC in scoring this season with 16.0 points/game. She is also ranked fourth among her NESCAC peers with 2.1 three-point field goals made/contest. After averaging 10.0 ppg as a sophomore and 9.8 ppg during her junior year, Borsinger has brought her game to a new level in ’12-’13.

She earned a career-high 29 points in a January 4th win at Bates, scoring 20 or more points seven times this season. Borsinger earned double-doubles this season on December 8th vs. Skidmore (23-11) and December 4th vs. Norwich (15-10).

Borsinger has played in 81 career games at Middlebury, owning 786 points with 282 rebounds.
