Women's Golf Wins At Williams

9/26/04 - The <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Middlebury College women's golf team handily won a three-team match at Williams over the weekend. The Panthers came in with a 654, followed by Hofstra's 715 and Williams' 762.
Winning medalist honors at Williams was Middlebury's sophomore Heather Gallagher (Toronto, Ont.), who shot a two day total of 160, with a 78 and an 82. Her teammate Tory MacNeil (Massey, Ont.) also shot a 160, but Gallagher won the tie-breaker by comparing scorecards. Just two strokes back was first-year player Karen Levin (Morton Grove, Ill.) with a 162, followed by sophomore Allison Ortega (Clinton, N.Y.) with a 172 and sophomore Kerry Ortega (Clinton, N.Y.) with a 183.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
