The Middlebury campus is breathtaking. The first time I saw it was on my summer tour, and even though it was pouring rain, I still couldn't believe how beautiful the place was. Looking out from the golf course you can see the green mountains rolling for miles, and every once in a while you just have to stop and look, even if you just hit a bad shot.
What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?
The people at Middlebury are what make it a special place. Everyone from the students to the Professors, coaches, and any other staff members is what makes it such a special place.
What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?
When I would be the first player to come in off the 18th green to turn in my score, I would always watch the rest of my teammates make their way down the 18th fairway. They would keep the straightest face all the way down, count up their scores, and then come over and discuss their round: good or bad. The best time was at NCAA's in Florida after our last round and seeing the mixed emotions on my teammate’s faces. Sharing those feelings was an unforgettable experience.
What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?
Golf is one of the most mentally taxing sports you can play. I have learned how to stay calm in difficult situations, and how to prepare for big matches.
