Women's Golf Wins At Williams To Wrap Up Fall Season

The Panther women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a win at the 13-team Williams Fall Classic Tournament. Middlebury shot a two-day total of 642, sparked by a 317 on the second day of play. St. Lawrence placed second (654), followed by Mt. Holyoke (657), Williams (657) and Amherst (660).

Sophomore Courtney Mazzei (Larkin Valley, Calif.) won medalist honors with a 149, including a 72 on the second day of play. First-year player Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) and sophomore Jessica Bluestein (Tucson, Ariz.) each shot a 162 to finish in a seventh place tie, followed by senior Julie Ellenberger (Concord, Mass.) with a 169. Sophomore Elizabeth Hirsch (New City, N.Y.) rounded out the squad with a 199.
