Middlebury College women’s golfer Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) has been named a second-team All-American and a first-team All-Regional selection by the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA). The senior is now a three-time All-Region choice, earning honorable mention All-American honors in ’10 and ’11.

The 72 hole event is being held at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana. Her 54-hole total of 231 is only six strokes behind the leader with one day remaining.

The event is being held at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana. In the team event, Methodist leads after two days with a 620, while Catherine Wagner of Wis.-Eau Claire paces the event with a 149.

Middlebury senior Flora Weeks is tied for 19th place among 101 golfers with a 78 after one day of play at the 2012 NCAA Championships. The event is being held at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana. In the team event, Williams leads after day one with a 307, while Eph Georgiana Salant leads the field with a 72.

Middlebury College women’s golfer Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) has qualified for the 2012 NCAA Championship. Weeks will compete from May 8-12 in Angola, Indiana at the Zollner Golf Course. The event is being hosted by Trine University. The marks the second time Weeks has qualified as an individual, finishing in a 14th place tie among 104 golfers in ’09.

The Middlebury women’s golf team placed second among eight teams competing at the Williams Spring Invitational. The two-day event was held at the par-71, 5,827-yard Taconic Golf Club. The Ephs won the event with a 652, followed by Middlebury (662) and Amherst (679). Flora Weeks captured medalist honors with a 78 on day one and an 81 on the second day of play for a 159.

The Panther women's golf team finished third overall among 12 teams competing at the Jack Leaman Championship this weekend at Amherst.  The event was held at The Orchards on Sunday, after yesterday's opening round at the Amherst Golf Club. Amherst won the event with a 633, followed by Williams (635), Middlebury (657) and Ithaca (670).

The Panther women's golf team opened spring play with a second place finish at the 11-team Vassar Invitational. Middlebury shot a two-day total of 667, four strokes behind tournament winner Amherst. Action was taking place at the par 70, 5,805-yard Dutchess Golf and Country Club.

The Middlebury College women’s golf team ended its fall season with a second place finish among 12 teams at the Williams Fall Invitational. Senior Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) earned medalist honors for the third time this fall, capturing the tourney with a two-day total of 151. The team ended with a 665 overall, with Williams shooting a 646.

Due to heavy rain and unplayable conditions, the 2011 Middlebury Invitational Women's Golf Tournament has been cancelled. The host school to move the tournament to the nearby Neshobe Golf Club, but after a few holes, action was halted. Sunday's weather does not look any better, resulting in the cancelation of the tourney.

The Panther women’s golf team earned a second place finish among 14 teams at the Mount Holyoke Invitational. For the second straight week, senior Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) earned medalist honors with a 148 (+4). Weeks shot a 73 on the first day of play, following that up with a 75 on day two.

The Middlebury College women’s golf team finished second among 11 teams at the N.Y.U. Invitational over the weekend. Williams won the event with a 630, followed by Middlebury (643) and Amherst (661). Senior Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) earned medalist honors at the event, shooting 75 and 76 for a two-day total of 151 to place first among 66 golfers.

The Middlebury College women’s golf team opened up the year with a second place finish at the nine-team St. Lawrence Invitational. The host school won the event with a 675, with Middlebury trailing by just one stroke at 676.
