Women's Golf Finishes 14th At NCAA's

The Middlebury College women’s golf team finished 14th among 21 teams at the 2013 NCAA Championships. The Panthers shot their second-best round of the week on Friday, coming in with a 332 on the final day of competition. The team ended the tournament with a +186 score of 1,338. Mary Hardin-Baylor won the title with a 1,239, topping 15-time champion Methodist. Competition took place at the Baytowne Golf Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Florida. 

Keely Levins paced the team on the final day of competition, coming in with an eight-over-par 80. The senior earned a pair of birdies in her final collegiate round, including seven pars. Just one stroke behind was Jordan Glatt who earned nine pars and a birdie for an 81. Michelle Peng shot an 85 on day four, with eight pars, while Monica Chow was one stroke behind with an 86, featuring a birdie and six pars. Caroline Kenter rounded out the team on Friday, with a birdie and five pars for an 88.
