Women's Hockey Wins Opener In Kenyon

11/23/04 - Middlebury scored three power play goals on its way to a 4-2 win over N.E.C. in the Panthers home-opener in Kenyon Arena. Goals from Alison Graddock and Liz Yale-Loehr gave Middlebury a 2-0 lead after the first period. Tory MacNeil made it a 3-0 game in the third period before the Pilgrims scored two to make it a 3-2 game at the 14:50 mark. Gillian Paul gave the Panthers some breathing room just 44 seconds later as they earned the 4-2 win. Angie Todd made 10 saves in goal as Middlebury out shot New England College, 38-12.
