Women's Hockey Blanks Trinity

Middlebury extended its unbeaten streak to 21 games as the Panthers blanked Trinity 8-0 in women's hockey action on Friday night. Both teams end the regular season on Saturday afternoon when Middlebury hosts Hamilton and Trinity travels to Williams.

Shannon Sylvester had a huge game for the Panthers as she had a goal and four assists for a five-point night. Abby Kurtz-Phelan had a goal and three assists in the win, as Middlebury out shot Trinity 46-13.

Annmarie Cellino and Randi Dumont each had a pair of goals in the win, while Marjie Billings and Ashley Bairos each had solo goals.

Lani Wright made 13 saves in goal to earn the win, while Helen McCarthy made 38 in a losing effort.
