Melberg Earns Player Of The Week Honors

Middlebury College women's hockey player Maggie Melberg (Woody, Creek, Colo.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week after her first game as a Panther. The rookie tallied two goals and added an assist in Middlebury's 5-1 victory over Williams on Saturday. Melberg opened the season for the Panthers with a shorthanded goal midway through the first period, followed by a power-play score in the early moments of the second. Her assist came while Middlebury was shorthanded midway through the second.
